Elderly woman dies in road accident



KATHMANDU: A woman has died in a road accident involving an ambulance at a place called Dui kilo on the Lamosanghu-Jiri road section.

The ambulance (Ba 20 Cha 6327) operated by Khadichaur Savings and Loan Cooperative Society met with an accident last night.

The deceased has been identified as Manmaya Khadka, 89, of Sunkoshi municipality-7, according to the District Police Office. Khadka died after the ambulance crashed into a house on the side of the road.
