Mayoral candidate Singh widens lead with 18,758 votes in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: Rajeshman Singh, the mayoral candidate from the five-party alliance in Birgunj, is ahead of the CPN-UML candidate Vijay Kumar Sarawgi by 18,758 votes.

Rajeshman Singh of Janata Samajbadi Party has got 38, 437 votes so far.

UML mayoral candidate Sarawagi has received 19,679 votes.

Similarly, Imtiaz Alam of Nepali Congress (NC) has got 24,915 votes for the post of deputy mayor.

Similarly, RPP mayoral candidate Girish Giri has received 2,857 votes.
