Sampang leading in vote count tally of Dharan Sub-Metropolis



SUNSARI: Harka Sampang, an independent mayoral candidate of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, is currently leading the vote count.

Rai has so far garnered 8,509 votes while his nearest contender Kishwor Rai of Nepali Congress (NC) has polled 8,362 votes.

Likewise, Manju Bhandari of CPN-UML has secured 6,858 votes.

Meanwhile, Aindra Bikram Bega, a candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) for the post of deputy-mayor, is currently leading the tally with 9,430 votes.
