NC’s Nagesh Koirala ahead in Biratnagar Metropolis

NC: 16,455, UML: 12,255, Independent: 5,202



BIRATNAGAR: The Nepali Congress (NC) has maintained its lead with 4,200 in the counting of votes in Biratnagar Metropolitan City.

As per the latest vote count results made public, Nagesh Koirala of the NC got 16,455 votes while Sagar Kumar Thapa of the CPN-UML got 12,255 votes.

Independent candidate Umesh Kumar Yadav got 5,202 votes.

Similarly, for the post of deputy mayor, the UML is leading with 5,681 votes.

Shilpa Nirala Karki of UML got 14,113 votes while Amarendra Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party got 8,432 votes.

Likewise, Binda Kumari Luintel Acharya of RPP has got 3,987 votes.
