I feel spiritually ecstatic when I visit Nepal, says Indian PM Modi

KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Lumbini, has said that his visit to Nepal is more spiritual than political this time and he experiences spiritual blessings from Nepal.

Addressing the 2566th Buddha Jayanti Special Ceremony held in Lumbini on Monday, the Indian Prime Minister said that Nepal-India relations were as strong as mountains.

Stating that there is a close relationship between the two countries, he said, “I had said in Janakpur that without Nepal, our Ram would be incomplete. I believe that Nepal is equally happy with the Ram temple being built in India today.”

Indian Prime Minister Modi added that Gautama Buddha belonged to everyone, rising above the geographical boundaries.
