PM Deuba and PM Modi hold meeting at Gautam Buddha’s birthplace



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have held a meeting in Lumbini on Monday.

During the meeting, issues related to Nepal-India bilateral relations were discussed.

The two leaders recalled the achievements of Prime Minister Deuba’s visit to India from April 1 to 3, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Likewise, Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka also paid a courtesy call on Indian Prime Minister Modi in Lumbini.

Modi arrived in Lumbini this morning in an Indian Air Force helicopter.

Prime Minister Deuba had welcomed PM Modi in Lumbini.

Indian PM Modi will return home this evening.
