DARCHULA: Three people have died in a microbus accident in Shailyashikhar municipality in the Darchula district.
The accident took place at Lakhola near the ward office of Shailyashikhar municipality-6, Gwani. The deceased have been identified as Prakash Singh Dhami, Navin Singh Dhami and Harish Dhami.
All three are locals of Gwani.
The ill-fated microbus with UML cadres on board fell about 1,000 meters down the hill from the road while it was heading to Gokuleshwor to participate in the victory procession.
