KMC’s independent candidate Balen still ahead

KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolis, is still leading the vote count as of Sunday morning.

He has received 1,587 votes so far.

His nearest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML has so far got 887 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh has got 822 votes so far.

Vote counting is underway.
