NC’s Pandey taking the lead in Butwal



BUTWAL: With as many as 3,075 votes counted so far, Khel Raj Pandey of Nepali Congress is leading so far with 1,355 votes in Butwal sub-metropolis.

Pandey represents the five-party alliance as the mayoral candidate.

CPN-UML and Rastriya Janamukti Party’s joint candidate Baburam Bhattarai of UML has got 704 votes.

Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s candidate Mrigendra Kumar Sherchan is following Bhattarai with 509 votes.
