Independent candidate Balen Shah still leading in KMC vote count



KATHMANDU: Independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolis, Balen Shah, is still leading the vote count securing 747 votes.

His nearest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML has so far got 545 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh has got 397 votes so far.

Vote counting is underway.
