NC rebel candidates leading in Dhulikhel, Janakpur sub-metro



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) rebel candidate has taken the lead in Dhulikhel Muncipality.

Sacked as the Dhulikhel NC President for filing rebel candidacy, Bidur Bahadur Basnet is ahead with 572 votes. The CPN-UML’s Ashok Kumar Byanju is behind with 467 votes.

Similarly, NC rebel candidate Manoj Sah has a wide lead in the preliminary results of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City. When Sah got 259 votes, the former mayor and candidate of the ruling coalition Lal Kishor Sah secured only 36 votes.
