Weightlifter Sanju Chaudhary found dead



KATHMANDU: Weightlifter Sanju Chaudhary, a gold medalist of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG), has been found dead.

Spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range Lalitpur SP Siddhi Bikram Shah said that the Sanju was found hanging at the house of Sanjay Maharjan, a weightlifting instructor at Lubhu in Lalitpur.

According to SP Shah, the initial investigation showed that she had committed suicide.

Sanju, who hails from Nepalgunj, had come to Kathmandu for a closed training for the 19th Asian Games.
