Two Indian youths arrested with weapons



KATHMANDU: Two Indian nationals have been arrested with weapons from Simraungadh in Bara district.

Armed Police have arrested two Indian youths in Simraungadh Municipality-9 with automatic Chinese pistols, magazines and ammunition.

Among the arrested are Pappu Kumar Yadav, 23, of Motihari in Bihar and Akhilesh Kumar Singh, 22, of Bhelawa, Bihar.

It is learned that the police stopped the two persons who had entered Nepal on a motorcycle from a bordering Indian village and recovered one Chinese pistol, two rounds of ammunition, two magazines, two sharp pistols and two rounds of ammunition.

According to the Armed Police Force, the suspects were handed over to the Area Police Office, Simraungadh for further action.
