Five killed in Kavre accident



KATHMANDU: Five people have been killed when a vehicle carrying Indian tourists collided with a jeep in Kavre on Wednesday.

An Indian vehicle (UP 58 T 8181) carrying Indian passengers and a jeep (Na 1 Ja 4210) coming to Kathmandu from Sindhuli met with an accident at Roshi village in Kavre.

According to the police, five people, including a five-year-old boy were killed in the accident.

The deceased have been identified as Bikram Shrestha of Sindhuli, Samjhana Bhusal of Ramechhap, her son Sangeet Bhusal, Pramila Nepali of Sindhuli and Hari Bahadur Bal of Sindhuli.

18 others have been injured in the accident, police said.

The condition of three passengers in the accident is critical.
