Elderly killed in a tiger attack in Chitwan



CHITWAN: An old man who went to the forest to cut grass has died after being attacked by a tiger.

Narayan Dahal, 65, of Khairhani Municipality-13 in Chitwan was attacked by a tiger while he was going to cut grass in a nearby community forest.

Dahal, who went to the forest at 8 am on Sunday, was found dead at around 10 am, said DSP Narahari Adhikari, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Chitwan.

He said the body was found with injuries to his neck and left thigh.
