NC to get 20 wards, Maoists 5 and Unified Socialist 3 in Bharatpur



KATHMANDU: Political parties affiliated with the ruling alliance have agreed on sharing seats in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

As per the agreement, Nepali Congress has got 20 seats, Maoist Center 5, and Unified Socialist 3 seats.

Nepali Congress will get chairmanship in wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 27, and 29.

Likewise, the Maoists will field candidates for the post of ward chairperson in wards 11, 13, 24, 25 and 28, while the Unified Socialists will contest in wards 9, 12 and 22.
