NEW DELHI: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Jammu and Kashmir today.
Ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, security has been tightened across the union territory, India Today reported.
Multi-tier security arrangements have been made to ensure no untoward incident takes place, it said.
In Palli Panchayat in Samba district of Jammu division, from where PM Modi will be addressing Gram Sabhas across the country on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, entry and exit points have been sealed and roads have been barricaded.
All preparations for PM Modi’s visit are underway at Palli Panchayat. The prime minister is expected to interact with village heads in Palli Panchayat on arrival on Sunday morning.
The locals are reportedly expecting PM Modi to announce good initiatives for the youth.
