NC top brass seeking consensus on candidates of metros and sub-metros



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC) is underway in Baluwatar on Saturday afternoon.

The meeting is to seek consensus on the mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates of the metropolises and sub-metropolises.

NC current and former office bearers, among others, are attending the meeting. Leader Shekhar Koirala has also been invited to the meeting of the top leaders.

NC leaders said after the top leaders agree on the candidacies, the meeting of the Central Working Committee would follow.
