NC will take economic revolution ahead: Prakash Man Singh

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh said NC would move ahead with the campaign of economic revolution in the country.

Inaugurating an office of NC Kathmandu constituency-7 (B) in Kathmandu on Saturday, leader Singh claimed that NC, which led the constitution promulgation bid, would also take the lead for economic revolution.

“The role of NC is immense to make general public a sovereign citizen and only NC could provide life and livelihood,” Singh said, claiming that Kathmandu constituency 7 had taken a leap after multiparty system was introduced in the country.

The former deputy prime minister and NC’s former general-secretary urged the cadres to vote responsible candidates, arguing that the local level election scheduled for May 13 would influence provincial and parliamentary election as well.

He blamed that the erstwhile CPN (UML)-led government could not deliver well and thus went on to dissolve the House of Representatives twice. Singh appealed with one and all to elect responsible candidates in the upcoming election. (RSS)
