NEPSE falls by 36.73 points Wednesday



KATHMANDU: On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market took to its decline trend and fell by 36.73 points.

The market, which had improved on Tuesday, declined by double digits and went down to 2320.51 points on Wednesday. This is a decrease of 1.56 percent.

A total of 228 companies traded 32,506 times on Wednesday.

NEPSE witnessed the trade of 3570014 shares today. The transaction amount on Wednesday was Rs 1.45 billion.

When all 13 subgroups went red today, the finance and others group became the biggest loser. Prices of Jalpa Community Microfinance and Green Ventures Ltd. rose to a positive circuit level (9.99 percent) on Wednesday.

The share price of community MFIs has also risen by 3.08 percent. The share price of NESDO Samridhi Microfinance, which had been witnessing the positive circuit level for a long time fell the most by 10 percent on this day.
