Teenage boy killed in bus-motorbike collision



KATHMANDU: A teenage boy has died after being hit by a passenger bus in Besigaun in the Kathmandu Valley.

The other two people sustained injuries in the accident.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Dipen Dahal of Okhaldhunga. Critically injured Dahal, who was rushed to Nepal Medical College breathed his last in the course of treatment on Thursday afternoon.

The accident took place when a scooter, Bagmati Pradesh, 02-012 Pa 5326, collided with a passenger bus, Ba 3 Kha 1318, heading to Sundarijal from Jorpati at 4 pm.

Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha said they are investigating the case after taking the bus and its driver under control.
