Home Minister assures security of investment



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has pledged to provide security of the business investment.

Minister Khand said it was government’s responsibility to encourage, promote and safeguard the business investment.

“The state should honour the entrepreneurs for playing crucial roles in Nepal’s economy,” according to Minister Khand.

He also asked the transport entrepreneurs to be serious to reduce road accidents adding that thousands of people were losing their lives every year in road accidents.

The transport sector should work to ensure safety of this field adding that the government was serious to address the problems transport entrepreneurs facing, the Home Minister argued.

Minister Khand also admitted that Acts, rules and laws needed for the reforms in transport sector could not be amended following the disruption in the parliament meeting.
