CPN-US sets up election mobilization committee

Chair Nepal to lead mobilization committee



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Unified Socialist (CPN-US) has formed an election mobilization committee for the local level election.

A meeting of the Central Secretariat held on Saturday and Sunday formed a 1,111-member main election mobilization committee headed by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The election mobilization committee comprises office bearers and members of the Central Committee, three Central Commissions, Central Advisory Council, Central Senior Communist Forum; members of Central Council, office bearers at provinces, district chairpersons, central office bearers of people’s organizations.

Similarly, the party also formed an election mobilization central secretariat under the leadership of General Secretary Beduram Bhusal. The members of the poll mobilization secretariat are Prakash Jwala, Gangalal Tuladhar, Bijay Poudel, Jagannath Khatiwada, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, Bishwanath Pyakurel, Som Prasad Pandey, Kedar Sanjel, Surya Khatri and Dronacharya Chhetri.
