Ruling coalition holding meeting today

To dwell on upcoming elections



KATHMANDU: The ruling alliance is holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming local level elections today.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the ruling coalition at his official residence in Baluwatar at 11:30 am.

Talking to Khabarhub, a Nepali Congress leader said Prime Minister Deuba has called a meeting with the top leaders of the ruling alliance.

Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party, and Rashtriya Janamorcha Nepal are in the ruling alliance.

The meeting will discuss upcoming local level election, selection of candidates, and the election code of conduct, it is learned.

The local level election is being held on May 13.
