44,853 apply for Korean Language Test

KATHMANDU: As many as 44,853 Nepali youths have submitted forms for Korean Language Test (KLT) under the employment permit system (EPS).

According to Computer Engineer at the EPS section, Tek Bahadur Khadka, 10,858 candidates have applied for the KLT under the agricultural sector and 33,995 have applied under the manufacturing sector.

The KLT test under the EPS had stopped for two years since 2019.

South Korea, an attractive foreign employment destination, is making preparations to take 9,654 Nepali youths for the year 2022.

The KLT is being held from May 9 to October 7 in various phases.
