Govt hikes long-route public transport fare



KATHMANDU: In a bid to maintain the automatiuc fare rate, the government on Sunday increased the fares of long-route public vehicles by 10 percent.

The Department of Transport Management increased the fares by 10 percent.

The Department has hiked the fares of freight vehicles by 13 percent in the hilly region and 15 percent in the Terai.
