34,665 candidates apply for MBBS entrance test

KATHMANDU: As many as 34,665 candidates have filled out forms for the entrance examination of integrated Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) conducted by Medical Education Commission.

To be held for three days – Frida, Sunday and Monday – 19,508 participated in the entrance exams on the first day.

Inspecting the Friday’s exam, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel directed to smoothly conduct the exams so that questions would be raised on it.

Minister Poudel had visited teaching hospital of Nepal Army and Herald International College on Friday.
The entrance exams are taking place through 111 exam centers, informed Dr, Shree Krishna Giri, the vice chairman of the Commission.
