Congress provincial representatives submitting reports



KATHMANDU: Representatives of the Nepali Congress Gandaki Provincial Committee have started submitting reports under the ‘Let’s go from door to door and bring victory to the Congress’ campaign, targeted at the May 13 local elections.

The party’s 72 provincial members were deployed in 36 state assembly constituencies in 11 districts of the province.

According to the party’s Gandaki provincial president Shukra Raj Sharma, all the delegates went to the concerned state assembly and met the cadres and the people directly and took stock of the situation there.

Stating that the delegates have started submitting the report, he expressed confidence that the report would be helpful for the selection of candidates in the upcoming election.

Shakuntala Sharma, a representative of Syangja’s Province 2 (b), said that the campaign has added to the party’s enthusiasm in the villages. Provincial Vice President Kalpana Tiwari, General Secretaries Kiran Bavu Shrestha and Bishnu Lamichhane said that the campaign was successful as the party leaders and cadres went to the door steps of the people.
