RPP Chair Lingden for electoral alliance in local level election

JANAKPUR: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden said his party could consider forging an electoral alliance with various political parties in the upcoming local level election.

The local level election is slated for May 13 this year in a single phase.

Lingden said it while talking to media persons at a program organized by his party in Janakpur on Friday. He, however, said there were no formal talks with any political parties regarding the electoral alliance yet.

Furthermore, he said that his party would field candidates in all local levels across the country irrespective of electoral alliance with any political parties.

Earlier in an event in Udayapur, he reminded that his party had launched a nationwide anti-corruption campaign. He assured that the corruption, bad governance and vices prevailing in the current federal republic system would be eliminated if his party rises to power.
