Hackers steal Rs 72.72 billion from crypto games



KATHMANDU: Hackers have managed to steal Rs 72.72 billion from a crypto game called Play to Earn.

The hackers stole 173,600 etheriums from the Ronin blockchain.

In Play to Earn game, players get crypto for playing the game, but initially they have to pay some fee.

The hackers hacked using private keys. As cryptocurrency grows in popularity, so does its theft.

PageBlock, which recently reported on the hacking of 400 cryptocurrency accounts of Crypto.com, reported that hackers had taken 33 million.
