Changing party in the face of elections is extreme opportunism: Baburam Bhattarai



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Federal Council President Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that changing the party in the face of elections is extreme opportunism.

Bhattarai said that the party was an organized expression of a group of people committed to the idea and path of state and social transformation.

He said that changing parties for the sake of power in the face of elections was extreme opportunism and that such a trend should be stopped.

“A party is an organized expression of a group of individuals committed to the idea and path of transformation of the state and society,” he has said.
