Nepal gets target of 233 runs



KATHMANDU: In the fourth and final practice match of the tour of Sri Lanka, Nepal has got the target of 233 runs from Sri Lanka United-11 Friday.

Sri Lanka United won the toss and elected to bat. They lost all their wickets in 48.2 overs and scored 232 runs.

Anuka Fernando’s 56-run half-century for Sri Lanka was followed by Sadun Virakkodi’s 49 and Kumar Swamy’s 30.

For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sagar Dhakal took three each and Sompal Kami two wickets. Similarly Arif Sheikh and Captain Sandeep Lamichhane took one wicket each in the match.
