18 countries without Nepali ambassadors



KATHMANDU: With the formation of a new government, a trend of calling back ambassadors appointed by the previous government has developed.

Besides, the disagreement among the coalition partners on sharing of ambassadorial posts. Due to his reason, diplomatic missions in many countries have been headless for months.

There have been no appointments to the posts of ambassadors in many countries for the last eight months.

The coalition government has called back ambassadors but has not been able to appoint new ambassadors in the vacant posts in many countries.

Currently, 18 countries where there are residential ambassadors of Nepal have become headless.
