Two including minor killed in jeep-motorcycle accident



KATHMANDU: Two people including a minor were killed in a jeep-motorcycle collision in Aurahi municipality-4, in Mahottari district.

The deceased have been identified as Sanjit Mandal, 22, of Gaushala municipality-2, Mahottari and pillion rider Dhiraj Mandal, 12, of Samsi rural municipality-1.

Critically injured Sanjit and Dhiraj breathed their last in the course of treatment at District Hospital, Jaleshwor, said police.

Th accident took place when a jeep, Pradesh-2-02-001 Cha 841, collided with a motorcycle with a plate reading ‘On Test’ at Kathudhar yesterday evening.

Police have arrested jeep along with the driver and is investigating the case.
