KATHMANDU: Nepali products, including Pashmina shawls, tea and handicraft items have been promoted in Bahrain.

The Nepali Embassy in Manama has recently promoted the products by, for the first time, participating in the International Embassy Bazaar organized by the Children and Mother’s Welfare Society of the Kingdom of Bahrain, according to the Nepali embassy.

Royal member of Bahrain Sheikh Lulwa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, special guest on the occasion, keenly observed and took stock of the Nepali products. She also bought Nepali products like tea, pashmina and other items.

The visitors were provided with promotional materials to motivate them to visit Nepal, according to a statement issued by the Embassy.
