DAMAULI: Tanahu Hydropower Ltd, which is constructing the 140-MW hydropower project at Rishing Rural Municipality-1 in the district, is to construct another hydel project.
The company is going to construct the 104-MW Lower Seti (Tanahu) Hydropower Project. The water for generating power from this project will be received from 140 meters tall concrete dam in the Seti River of Tanahu hydropower project and additional flow of the Madi River.
The company has already received permission for survey of power production.
An agreement was signed on April 12, 2019, for the procurement of consultancy service of detailed engineering design and bidding documents of the project from 3.5 million US Dollars received from Asian Development Bank.
