PM successful in adjusting differences regarding MCC: Gagan Thapa

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said the politics of provocation is harmful for the country and society.

Inaugurating a two-day party gathering in Gandaki Province Friday, the NC leader accused the Communists of exercising the ‘politics of provocation’.

As he explained, the Communists demonstrated a double standard in regard with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) thus provoking the masses. According to him, the Prime Minister has finally been successful in adjusting differences on MCC compact and finding a ground for its ratification from the House.

Stating that the party had different image among the people and it always demonstrates the adjusting characters, he called for further strengthening of party organization in view of the upcoming election.
