UML Chair Oli pledges to work at the behest of country and people



KATHMANDU: Main opposition party CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli said that there was no condition wherein the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) could be endorsed as his party was not in the parliamentary process.

Addressing the second national convention of the Progressive and Professional Lawyers’ Association Nepal here today, Oli, also former Prime Minister, assured that his party will work at the behest of country and people.

Oli reiterated that his party will only make move that serve the best interest of the country and the people. On a different note, he commented that although Nepal was the land of justice, it was dead in the country.

He said that the impeachment motion against the Chief Justice of Supreme Court would not be presented in the parliament for decision because the impeachment motion was not put forward for decision.
