JSP’s “crucial” Central Executive Committee meeting underway

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), which has been embroiled in internal disputes for a long time, is underway in the capital.

The meeting currently being held at the party’s central office in Balkumari is discussing issues related to the party, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and preparations for the local elections.

It should be noted that party Chairman Upendra Yadav and Chairman of the Federal Council Dr Baburam Bhattarai are engaged in disputes on party matters, including the issue of MCC.

While Dr Bhattarai is in favor of ratifying the MCC, Yadav has yet to make his stance clear.
