Govt office chiefs asked for CDO’s permission to leave district

HUMLA: The chiefs of government offices in Humla are now required to take permission of Chief District Officer to leave district.

CDO Sita Pariyar gave such direction reasoning that chiefs of government offices in the district were found absent in the office without information and planning.

Pariyar made such decision after holding the first meeting with district office chiefs on the very first day she arrived here.

The CDO directed the concerned ones to mandatorily submit written request for leave.

The decision was made also citing the reason that local level election was approaching soon and various information was needed from different offices.

The office chiefs and information officers are also directed to submit information to the CDO on total quota of employees, availability of employees, vacant posts, and number of people working on contract base.

Similarly, the districts offices are asked to mandatorily update website with activities and future plan, and inform public about office activities via social media like Facebook.

Similarly, the quarterly report prepared by the offices should be reached the District Administration Office within a week.
