NC leader Mahat urges cadres to focus on upcoming election

KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the ruling Nepali Congress Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has urged party cadres to focus on upcoming local level election to ensure party’s victory. He also asked them to forget about bitterness that occurred during party’s recently held general convention.

“Party will reduce to a club if we become weak in the poll. It is imperative for the NC to win the election to serve people,” said the leader while inaugurating the regional and province offices of the NC, Nuwakot, Province (B) amid an event in Nuwakot on Saturday.

Stating that being victorious in local level election would make headway for one to win next elections, he drew the attention of party cadres to set on a campaign to strengthen party organization from ward to district level.

Similarly, party central members Bahadur Singh Lama and Ramhari Khatiwada said that party had focused on consolidating party organisation by resolving internal problems.
