Ruling coalition’s “crucial meeting” on MCC underway at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition dubbed as “decisive” has begun at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The top leaders in the meeting will make an effort to reach a consensus on the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

The meeting was scheduled for today as no agreement was reached in Thursday’s meeting.

Before the meeting of the ruling coalition, the meeting of the top leaders of the anti-MCC alliance was held at the residence Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” in Khumaltar.

The Maoist center has already decided to quit the government if the government tabled the Compact without the consent of the ruling parties.
