US Ambassador meets PM Deuba; discusses MCC



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry have held talks on a wide range of issues, including Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Ambassador Berry reached Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar on Wednesday evening to meet Prime Minister Deuba.

During the meeting, Ambassador Berry expressed interest in the MCC approval process, sources have claimed.

According to a Baluwatar source, Prime Minister Deuba informed Ambassador Berry that the government is preparing to get the MCC approved by the parliament.
