Hridayesh Tripathi’s PPP registered in Election Commission



KATHMANDU: The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) headed by Hridayesh Tripathi has been formally registered with the Election Commission on Tuesday.

According to leader Tripathi, he is given the party registration certificate on Tuesday afternoon.

Leader Tripathi who had been with other Madhesi leaders Mahantha Thakur and Upendra Yadav during the Madhes movement had contested with CPN-UML’s election symbol ‘Sun’ in the previous election. He had been a minister in UML Chairman KP Oli’s government.

Tripathi’s new party’s registration is 179. The central office of PPP is located at Kathmandu-10.
