Nepal concedes to UAE in T20 Cricket Series 2022



KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match under the Oman Quadrangular T20 Cricket Series 2022.

In the match held at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman on Saturday, Nepal lost to the UAE with a margin of 25 runs.

Nepal managed 167 runs in 20 overs against the target of 193 posted by the UAE. For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee made the highest run with 41 in 33 balls while Lokesh Bam contributed 33 runs in 21 balls. Likewise, Ashif Sheikh made 34 runs and Gyanendra Malla contributed 22 runs in 19 balls.

In the first match held on Friday, Nepal had defeated host Oman with six wickets. Nepal is scheduled to play the last match of the series with Ireland on February 14.
