Prime Minister Deuba and Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda meet again on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held discussion on current issues including the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the local election.

According to Prime Minister Deuba’s Press Coordinator Govinda Pariyar, Prime Minister Deuba and former Prime Minister Prachanda met again on Wednesday at Baluwatar to form a common view of the coalition on crucial issues like passing MCC and going in local election among many others. The leaders have already met a couple of times this week.

Lately, there has been a difference of opinion among the ruling coalition parties on the issue of MCC. Despite the coalition leaders commitment to accept the grant and further developmental activities ahead, the leaders are striving to ward off the misconceptions relating to the mega grant Nepal bagged from US government.
