KAWASOTI: Three people died in a road accident at Devchuli Municipality along the east-west highway on Thursday.
The accident took place when a bus, Na 4 Kha 5295, and truck, Na 2 Kha 4890, collided head-on.
Among the deceased is around 35-year-old woman whose name is yet to be confirmed.
Two among the victims are Kumari Sunari, 65, of Gaindakot municipality and 70-year old Jamuna Mapchhan of the same municipality ward-18.
According to district police office Nawalaparasi East, the 22 people injured in the mishap are receiving treatment at Medical College Chitwan and Manakamana Hospital Chitwan.
