KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali has said that the ongoing agitation of the legal professionals including the officials of Nepal Bar Associations is merely the revelation of the conflict between the two faction of judges and UML would not take part in it.

Speaking in a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday, he said that the UML would not be involved in the fight of the faction of judges.

“The ongoing agitation at the court is not focused on the reform agenda, the movement is not in the interest of the people and the judiciary,” UML leader Gyawali said, adding, “People are seeking justice. The conflict has to be resolved.”

He criticized Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s government for keeping a mum at the Indian government’s road expansion in the Lipulekh, Kalapani area of Nepal.
