PM Cup T20: Four matches taking place today



KATHMANDU: Four matches are taking place under the Prime Minister Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament today.

Karnali will take on Sudurpaschim in the first match. The match will be held at TU cricket ground in Kirtipur. Karnali has two points from one win and one loss.

In the second match, Province 2 will take on Lumbini at TU cricket ground. Province 2, which faced a defeat at the hands of AFP, had defeated Gandaki by two wickets. Lumbini had lost to Bagmati by 49 runs.

Similarly, Nepal Army will play against Province 1 from Group ‘A’ in the first match to be held in Mulpani cricket ground. Army is under compulsion to win today’s match as it had defeated Karnali Pradesh by 63 runs even though it faced a defeat at the hands of Nepal Police by four wickets. Province 1 had lost to Karnali by 31 runs.

In the second match to be held at Mulpani, APF will lock horns with Gandaki from Group ‘B’. Gandaki had lost to Pradesh 2 by two wickets and APF is in the top position with two wins.

It had defeated Pradesh 2 by 24 runs in the first match and Bagmati by seven wickets in the second match.
