NEPSE increases by 19.43 points today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 19.43 points on Monday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2784.95 points.

A total of 14.28 million shares of 236 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.123 billion.

Today, shares of all groups except banking, hotel tourism, and manufacturing have increased. Today, the share of the life insurance group has increased the most by 218 points.

Similarly, shares of the non-life insurance group increased by 190 points, others by 113 points, finance by 78 points, trade by 57 points, and hydropower group by 40 points.

Gurkhas Finance’s shares worth Rs 220 million were bought and sold today. The stock of Madhya Bhotekoshi has a positive circuit. Shares of Union Hydro and Corporate Development Bank have increased nearly 10 percent.
